What do you do?

What do you do if your husband comes to the computer desk bearing two brassieres and a pair of underwear....all of which have definitely seen better days?

Would you touch them and think...these don't look like my underthings... no, I don't think that I have ever worn those before? (my goodness the straps were 1/2 ripped off!)

No, this is not some seamy, seedy tale of betrayal and won-ton (on purpose, I am still laughing at MY own cleverness...ok, I don't get out much.) desire....

This is a story of a dastardly drawer in a "loverly" old bird's-eye maple dresser that we have owned for at least 5 years. For some reason the top drawer wouldn't shut tonight, it wanted it's naughty tale told.

I thought that it was really funny as I was holding this stranger's underthings to my eye and determining that it was foe....then I was kind of grossed out and sad that those yucky bras had belonged to someone. They were in really bad shape and she DEFINITELY needed new ones....maybe she now has some.

Some words of hope to a Sweet, Swedish meatball...

My sweet, sweet husband sent me this update to an earlier blog (see Secretos). I love it.

Those muffins sure do make me laugh. We actually took a pack to a potluck last month....and I have to ask,

HOW DID I EVER EAT A WHOLE ONE??

They are large.

That said, I had a wonderful Mother's day at the ocean. I thought of all you nice moms who have made my journey easier and more fun and hope that you all had a wonderful day too.

Also the timing of this is a sign. I think that it means that if we can all just think that we all are just doing the best that we can.... It is gonna be alright.

MAYBE not the best time ever, but ok.

Secretos....

First off, I would like to state that I love my Mother-in-Law mucho.

But I had to share this piece of art from another blog, http://postsecret.blogspot.com/, I laughed and laughed and then thought of my dear pseudo-Swedish friend Yasmiene and 5 pounds of bacon and then I laughed some more....my Mother-In-Law has a very keen sense of humor, so I think that she will laugh and laugh also.
